why is it an option and legal to do so up to 24 weeks then?

as a father, I understand pregnancy and birth have profound affects on women. But, whether you agree with it or not, it is legal, and an option, to abort up to 24 weeks in the UK without there being a medical reason for doing so, as long as the mother/patient has the ok from 2 doctors

It is that that I am uncomfortable with. For me, letting a child develop to 24 weeks, and then there being the option to abort without medical conditions at play is too long.

its a shame that you ended your comment with an insult. Its an important topic, and ideally mature a responsible people should be able to discuss it without throwing insults at the first available opportunity. For me it demonstrates an insecurity in oneself, one which I hope you can over come. wish you all the best.
