I love mine! I had a large alcove in my hall that I’ve turned into a ‘utility’ area with a couple of sliding doors. One side has shelves with all my cleaning/laundry/general shit and the other side has my washing machine (extended hoses fed under the floorboards to the original waste pipe) and a shelf put in to site my condenser dryer above the washing machine. I keep the door open when I use either the washing machine or dryer. My dryer has a water storage thingy that I empty maybe once a month - but I only use the dryer to finish things off, prevent the need for ironing and remove most cat hairs. I dry outside when I can, but still give everything a wee 20 mins in the tumble dryer afterwards. All I needed to do was get an electrical socket put in and voila - a utility hall cupboard was born.
