Comment | They'd eventually get collected though, that's one thing. And yeah, there were some horribly decrepit parts of the centre back them too, and 'gentrified' areas like Victoria Road or Duke Street were pretty stinking, but it felt like nobody was out looking for bother the way it does now. Also there wasn't shit graffiti every twenty yards, everywhere. There was a music scene then too, which has long gone. Still some great bands but no scene. Optimo, 13th Note and Sleazy's in the late '90s and early 2000s felt pretty special. |
