I’ve also witnessed interactions between Glaswegians where the Weegies were not necessarily being aggressive but just being themselves- Glaswegians are touchy-feely - and the English persons feeling violated. There’s a massive cultural difference that often gets misinterpreted for aggression.
However, I’m not denying that there are a ton of shitheads too, but there are tons in the rest of the U.K. as well. I blame the class system (Source: not born in the U.K.). |
