| Comment | Glasgow could have had a historic centre similar to Edinburgh. Including the original university building, high street and gallowgate. You should also check out some paintings of the Molendinar burn which used to run down past the cathedral, the area was really beautiful.
Unfortunately all this was lost due to the Victorians trying to modernise the city. Shame those lessons weren't learnt by the 60's/70's rolled round. |
