| Comment | the garscube road cycle path has a counter and even on a bad day (raining and cold) it's reading 300+ riders. on a good day, i've seen it up at 900. might not sound like a lot but when you consider that each one of those people is someone not in a car or on a bus, that's got to mean less cars on the road.
i only use the vicky road cycle lane twice a week but even on a bad day, it still reads 300 or so and on a nice day, i seen it pass 1000. i think the vicky road one is only going to see more cycle traffic because they're finishing off the cycle lane near the citizens and that was quite a scary part for cycling before hand. |
