You realise the entire point of trade unions is to protect employees right? Everything you listed there is just the union dismissing the employer who's trying to engage in dialogue outwith the union discussion.
It's pretty common for shady employers to do this. Refuse to sit at the table with the union but try and discuss union issues with union staff during day to day work. Trying to get other non union staff on side to create a divide is another common union busting tactic. It's just a shite employer being a shite employer and I'm not really sure why you'd defend that. |
