| Comment | I did mine. Bought from Dunelm the longest possible ones with eye sockets, cut off the eye socket part which brought them to the length I wanted and sewed on the band that the hooks get attached to.
It's a straight line as far as sewing. I bought a £150 Singer sewing machine that has come up handy multiple times since then despite the fact that I still do not how to use it to its full capacity.
I calculated that even with the cost of the sewing machine it still cost me less than if I had to custom order them. Obviously I am not counting the labour put in, but I did it also because I enjoy learning crafty things and doing things myself. |
