Yes it's an absolute disgrace. The nature of the road layout is to encourage low speed pass through only. No stopping and very little parking. The volume of cars that park on the double yellows makes it difficult to cross the road and dangerous as well as the improvements made are to encourage more pedestrians on foot to visit the area.
There are lots of bars and restaurants and with that brings drunk people. A wide open slow moving good visibility boulevard keeps them safe from the two ton metal killing machines. At least that was the intention.
It's just a horn blowing fucking disaster in my opinion. |
