Doesn't he realise that cyclists play snooker and pool too. Perhaps he could think out of the box and welcome cyclists in to his establishment. If there is space either inside or round the back he could let us all lock our bikes up for safety whilst visiting.
The irony is that improving pedestrian and cycle access generally increases footfall. What's good about being on a bike is that you can stop anywhere that you like really. No need to find a large are of road to park. Just simply stop and chain your bike to a fence or locking point. Cars can't do that. |
