Bearing in mind that this is mostly locals on the page- we don’t make much use of hotels etc so I don’t have any intel on the apartment itself.

There are no castles in Glasgow city centre so if you’re wanting to explore Glasgow then it’s as good an option as any.

It’s based in a nice quiet, affluent part of town. The West End is our student district. Historically it was a bit more bohemian than the city centre and has a lot of independent traders. It has a great food culture.

You’re handy for kelvingrove, kelvinhall, glasgow Uni, botanic gardens and the kelvin walkway. All of which are worth exploring.

The subway system in glasgow is very small and runs in a circle- within 5/10 minutes you can be in the city centre where you can see the cathedral/more Victorian buildings than you can shake a stick at, and our gallery of modern art.
