All they see is a pick up address before they hit accept. Once they accept the rest of the details show up, i.e destination, method of payment etc. if the driver doesn’t take that hire they get locked out of the system for either 30 mins.
The only thing I can think of is if you are a regular customer then the drivers that work in your area will know the pick up address and that you pay with card and maybe avoid it?
It’s daft that they are working from an app and rejecting card payment anyway, everything is tracked so they can’t hide anything. The only penalty they have is a 2% fee on the card payment. |
