| Comment | There’s a thing in Scotland called simple procedure . Depending on the amount of the claim it’s £109 or 19£ for under 200/300£ anything over is 109£ although you can claim that back - given your need to replace the bike and your clothing it might be over the 200-300 £
It’s fairly straight forward , although you will need the drivers details - name and address and the court can serve the claim on your behalf
Although if it’s personal injury plus the bike and clothing I’d speak to a solicitor on a no win no fees basis.
