I suspect I know the flat you're talking about. Corner flat in Pollokshields?
We were in a very similar position last year. There was a flat in Shields that had been on for *months,* but the seller wouldn't budge on their expectations. Ultimately, we weren't prepared to pay more and they weren't prepared to accept less so on the market it remained. (And if fact was taken down unsold.)
In your case, it doesn't sound like a negotiating tactic. I'd guess they have a figure they need/want and you haven't hit it. |
