If you see him again while out, call 999 there and then. And get to somewhere with lots of people. If there’s a shop go in there. Ask someone that works there for help, explain what’s happening and they should be able to take you in back and out of the way.
If no shops but you see a group of girls, or another group that you would feel comfortable with, go and ask if you can stay with them. Again explain the situation and that you feel that being in a group will keep him away. Certainly if anyone came up to me and said something vaguely like this, even if it was just me on my own, then that person is not going anywhere without me. I’m not separating from you until after you’ve finished with the police, are in a taxi or with a friend. Just being with one other person is usually enough to scare off someone.
