| Comment | I used to love it as a kid. Back in 2004 it felt like a proper fun day out with plenty of rides, attractions, the arcades, good few food options (RIP Wimpy and the cool 50's diner style seating area) and you also had all the indoor bits for when the weather inevtiably turned. Going back recently with my nephew who's 9 and had never been, he loved it and had a ball. His mum didn't grow up here so she never witnessed the place in it's "glory days", it was quite depressing pointing out all the bits that used to be great that had turned to shit. The two arcades have definetly seen better days, half the machines were out of order and the carpet was threadbare in some bits. During the summer season last year they were advertising new rides like the Condor, but it was shit most of the day. They need to get somebody in who will invest the money to make it worthy of the "Scotland's Theme Park" title. |
