If it's the smoke alarm or carbon monoxide detector do they not need to investigate! If no one is smelling smoke then most likeky a burglar alarm or carbon monoxide detector. Burglar alarms are shit but if its a carbon monoxide detector then like the smoke alarm should someone not check it as there's a risk to other flats.
