| Comment | Join an existing organised litter pick (as well as doing it solo). A great way to positively contribute to your community and more impactful than solo efforts. i.e. You can transform an area, even if only temporarily it is totally worth it. Solo is worthwhile too, but less transformative.
Another benefit of joining an existing pick is that they will already have figured out the disposal of litter picked rubbish.
Our group has special cooncil-only (green) bin bags and pre-arranged post-pick collections. |
