| Comment | My most disliked is "Curlers Rest" in Byres Rd. As a rule of thumb I dislike pubs which also operate as restaurants. I dont like drinking while smelling food. I also don't like the mixed environment it creates.
At work we used to go to Gallus, which is probably my favourite pub. Decent prices, decent size, decent people. I had a lot of great nights there. Eventually some of my workmates decided to go to Curlers rest because "it is more cool", "gallus is for old people" and that kind of shite. That basically killed our friday night pub. |
