WiFi is dependent on your router, so you will probably want a new WiFi 6 one, although you will only get full speed if your devices are capable.

For Internet service, then check to see what is available in your area. Don't pay for what you don't need. Would you really saturate a symmetric gigabit link? Latency will also matter for gaming.

If you have CityFibre available, you can get Vodafone, Brawband, Zen and others.

You may also have Hyperoptic and VirginMedia as option (VM's router sucks - only run it in modem mode and get your own router).

Even with OpenReach you can get 80Mbps if you are close to the exchange.

I don't think I have ever seen a recent plan with a data cap.

We're with Vodafone, 500 symmetric (it was a cheap deal), but no 5G backup (which may be a concern if you need it for work), two working from home, no complaints, great install by CityFibre. £29pcm on a 2 year contract.
