Parkrun is a free series of timed 5k runs all around the world running every Saturday. Although it's timed, it's not a race. They have walkers, joggers, and runners. It's a lovely community and each event has its own vibe. E. G. Viccy Park is flat, easy and crazy popular - 300/400 runners a week. Drumchapel is brutally hilly and gets maybe 50 a week. |
