The Kirky>MoC road is busy and fast. If I could suggest a wee alternative, take NCN 755 which follows the Strathkelvin Railway Path (pick it up at an old bridge crossing behind the McDonalds). You can follow this to either MoC or Lennoxtown and pickup the Crow Road from there.
