So it’s not really until they are coming off Kelvinbridge that the whole thing get’s silly. Bus driver wants to be pavementside going through the Park Road lights so he can stop at the stop just after at Lansdowne Crescent. Rather than slow and merge behind, the bus rather tried to push into that lane without having cleared the cyclist at all.

Up until that point was the unfortunate reality of cycling in Glasgow. If you try to cycle “exactly like the code says” some cunt will be trying to kill you, so you cycle by parked cars etc to make life easier for everyone. The bus driver getting aggressive in trying to take that lane is a different and in my mind more worrying transgression.
