Why would it be better for the cyclist to merge out in front of the bus? That makes no sense whatsoever. There was plenty of space for the cyclist in that lane, why would he move further out and block anyone from overtaking him?
The bus driver could have either neatly overtaken, or fallen back behind the cyclist if he really needed to be in that lane. There was no need to try and force his way into the lane like that. |
