Glasgows a bigger place than Bristol. The metro area is around 1.7M people.

It feels more like a “big” city like London in miniature. Different area’s give you different things. Culture wise it’s hard to argue with..4 uni’s, pubs, restaurants, theatres, music venues and festivals and always one of the tour dates on a bands UK/ World tour.

Experience depends where you live and what you can afford. If you’re looking at the west end, bits of the south side or Dennistoun etc then it’s a great place to relocate to. Although we have a rental market issue at the moment it’s still far more affordable than Bristol or other area’s around the South of England.

Downsides - weather can be grim and it gets dark really early in the winter. Like 3:30PM. Balanced by it seemingly never really getting dark for a few months of the summer!
