Okay so beyond your insults towards me based around my mental health, which thanks for, I think that these private clinics that will diagnose and prescribe for adhd, at high expense, are poisonous and disingenuous towards people who are vulnerable.

I have said and you can find my history of saying that paying a private clinic for a private prescription that will cost you thousands, doesn’t help anyone except the private clinic.

This is why when watching this, something that is very close to me as someone with adhd and some hip cool asd to boot, I am enraged at people being exploited for thousands of pounds.

They exist because of the massive influx of people wanting ‘tested’ and the lack of availability on the NHS (although I had a quick and positive experience, was 3 months in total from first psychiatrists visit to prescription).

For how easy it is to enter the private system, with a private prescription, and more costly followups for life, do you not think that eyebrows should be getting raised ? It’s all well and good these companies exist, and that people can access an alternative route towards diagnosis and possible treatment but there is not even nearly enough oversight on these places, and their practices.

I don’t think panorama is cheapshot ? Their production and journalist team is quite good at their job and have a history of uncovering issues in the NHS/health care system.
