In Glasgow if you picture yourself walking away from the cross the end of the street nearest the cross will be the low numbers and number 1 will be on your left. So if you're anywhere in the city and you're outside say number 17, if 17 is on your left and you're looking for number 25 it'll be in front of you because odd numbers on your left are always rising. |
