Fair comments but. I was born and raised in Edinburgh, and whilst I take a lot of the criticism about being unfriendly etc onboard what I will say is at least we *know* that we're a middle-class city. For some reason Glasgow is full of very comfortable people pretending that because they come from Glasgow they are incredibly down-to-earth:
"Oh well, life in Glasgow is tough, you know, and that builds a kind of community spirit and a gallus attitude you don't see in other places."
Yeah, life in Possil is tough! *You* come from Dowanhill and went to Hutchie's! |
