Add 5 minutes of silence to the **start** of the recording.
Start to play the recording including the silence LOUD on your sound system then immediately, you **and** your partner go downstairs and talk to the neighbours about helping them with the noise issue.
Bring up the point that you think your apartment has poltergeist activity just as the 5 minutes silence is about to elapse.
For bonus points talk your partner into covertly swallowing a sherbet dab, foaming at the mouth and rolling his eyes back at the same time.
Coup de grâce would be if he can also talk in tongues.
