Anybody else see An Inspector Calls at the Theatre Royal last night?

Absolutely horrendous. Terrible melodramatic hammy acting, incoherent dialogue and a completely unbelievable way in which people interact with each other. No nuance whatsoever: the antagonists spoke and laughed like cartoon supervillains and the protagonist **SHOUTED IN THAT WEIRD SCOTTISH ACCENT YOU HEAR IN MEDIA THAT NO-ONE IN REAL LIFE ACTUALLY USES**. Was so unbearable we had to leave halfway through.

The second absolutely awful play we've seen in Glasgow this year, the first being Wish You Were Dead which was so bad it was hilarious. God knows how these things are getting rave reviews when they're on par or even worse than am dram productions.
