Avoid flats in general, look for a semi detached in Knightswood, you could get a doer upper for your budget.
All Glasgow flats can be bad for sound proofing no matter the age. If you insist on a flat then look for something from the 80s or 90s onwards with concrete floors.
I have a post ww2 ex council flat with wooden floors and we know everything about our upstairs neighbours. And the continual squeaky floorboards. Though you do weirdly get used to it!
