If you need to get there at “some point this week” then taking public transport as opposed to taking a taxi or car is not going to make any difference. You are not talking about a here and now emergency.

You either leave an hour earlier and get public transport, or stump up for a taxi.

The topic of the main taxi services in Glasgow has been done to death on this sub. It’s between Glasgow Taxis, GlasGo, Uber and Saltire it seems.

If you’re not willing to pay for a taxi you’re in no position to turn your nose up at using buses and trains. People take their pets to vets on public transport everyday.
