West Yorkshire has the best UK tap water I've tried, Glasgow is definitely top 5 though. I think if any Glaswegian has tried English tap water it'll be when they've been on their holiday in London where it is ghastly hard to the point it marks the glassware. Presumable this is where the Scotland best England worst generalisation stems from.
