| Comment | I don't think they should rebuild a grand victorian terminus. Mixed-use with plenty of residential is the way to go. But I do think the site of a former station that still has good rail links is a logical place to build a new station, and with Central being at capacity I think it is obvious that more space is needed.
Something like 4 platforms, maybe taking the Ayrshire & Dumfries services from Central. They could run over the line from Shields Rd to High St which is currently only used for maintenance. |
