well, just build housing instead of Hotels. The problem isnt that there are too few hotels in Glasgow, the problem is that there isnt enough housing/apartments. Building more Hotels is not a fix to the problem you describe, more (affordable) housing is.

Ultimately, who benefits from more Hotels? The companies that own said Hotels. Who benefits from more housing, we do. Besides, there is Hotel rooms aplenty in central Glasgow, especially at the transport nodes. So nah, no more Hotels please - doesnt fix a thing, especially long term. It could maybe be a temporary measure to ease pressure on housing, but it absolutely is not a fix.
