Its not an instruction nor a request, unless by virtue of an incredible slice of fortune I'm speaking with the owner of the property we are discussing. And tbh, you are getting into practicalities that neither of us are probably fully quipped to make assertions about.

But, your argument, such as it is, seems to be, 'well, that landowner will benefit more from Hotels than flats/apartments, so there's no point even discussing what's best'. I mean, ok, if that how you feel, thats fine I suppose. Its a bit pessimistic though. But, as this thread thus far has been about what would be best for Glasgow (in that space) and as housing is specifically mentioned in the article that we are discussing, I'm fairly comfortable that housing is certainly an option and that it would absolutely benefit us more than another soulless Hotel, of which we have plenty already.

Like I said, we need housing, not Hotels - is it doable in that space, who knows?
