Yep, definitely the worst. Used to work for ATG as a team member, so I'd see a good 2 - 4 each week depending on the schedule.

An Inspector Calls was absolutely horrendous. Terrible melodramatic hammy acting, incoherent dialogue and a completely unbelievable way in which people interact with each other. No nuance whatsoever: the antagonists spoke and laughed like cartoon supervillains and the protagonist **SHOUTED IN THAT WEIRD SCOTTISH ACCENT YOU HEAR IN MEDIA THAT NO-ONE IN REAL LIFE ACTUALLY USES**. Was so unbearable we had to leave halfway through.

The second absolutely awful play I've seen in Glasgow this year, the first being Wish You Were Dead which was so bad it was hilarious. Went to see Young Frankenstein by am dram group Pantheon a few days later and it was a masterpiece. It's really saying something when amateur theatre is better than the stuff being put on by large theatre companies in large theatres.

Saw Book of Mormon at the Royal earlier this year and that was cracking, even if one of the main characters was flat.
