| Comment | I thought the opening scene was cool and 'that' scene 2/3 way through. I like the set design.
It was very unimaginative. And the acting WAS bad. Same tone of voice all the way though, just shouting at each other, seemingly saying their lines as quickly as possible, and, especially the dad, not speaking clearly. There was a bit which lasted about 20 mins where Sheila was whining about 'do you not see what we've done?!' and rhe parents were like 'lol' which I swear was the same dialogue over and over.
It's such a well-established play- you'd think someone would be able to do something different with it now. |
