| Comment | I like to just split bills evenly. Sometimes you’ll “win”, sometimes you’ll “lose” but it generally works out over time. I’ve occasionally worked it out afterwords out of curiosity and it’s never a massive difference.
If you and the same lot of people go out all the time together, you could try something like [Splitwise](https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/splitwise/id458023433). Then just take turns paying and pop it into Splitwise. Might be overkill depending on how often you’re doing stuff, but it’s amazing for group trips / holidays or flat-sharing expenses. |
