A visit to the police museum. The 2 chaps who run it are ex-cops and have a brilliant collection of stuff and they are very chatty.

The Kelvingrove museum. Go at 1pm and you will hear the church organ being played in the centre area.

Next to the Kelvingrove is Glasgow University- ancient and traditional. You can probably get a tour.

The red bus tour will take you round interesting locations in the west end, including the Kelvingrove and Glasgow University, and the audio tour will be available en français.

Traditional Scottish restaurant is Ardnamurchan on Hope Street. I have not been but people say it is nice.

A walk from Glasgow Green along the River Clyde to the Transport museum. Cross the bridges, back and forth, to get some good pictures.
