How many were hospitalised for drug or alcohol misuse?
What was the cost to process 41 arrests and 160+ PF reports through the police, PF office and courts?
And then compare that with 10 arrests and one hospitalisation from yesterday ....
So yeah, it doesn't compare in terms of public disorder, public cost, at all.
I'm not against festivals, have been to plenty. I am against agenda based hypocrites who are all too eager to froth at the mouth over yesterdays gathering, yet blissfully balk at the suggestion that other gatherings of similar size and locale are far more impactful in terms of crime and disorder and cost.
And here's the thing, even if these other gatherings arent more impactful (which they are) and are just of similar impact, it still makes you a hypocrite. And as your argument seems to be, well they are comparable in terms of impact, ur argument (such as it is) reinforces my point. |
