| Comment | If you’re walking, the nearest regular bus stop is at the Kingarth Hotel. It’s about a 3 mile walk according to google maps.
I wanted to go yesterday and ran into the same problem. Ended up at a different beach.
The tourist hop on hop off bus goes to Scalpsie bay though. There’s 4 buses a day, and it’s £14 for an adult. You can use the ticket on the normal busses too. I went on it a few year ago and though it was a great way to see the island, but I remember it being way cheaper and more frequent. £14 is a bit of a robbery imo. |
