| Comment | Now, I might be misremembering since I don't think I ever arrived without being a wee bit tipsy, but I am sure there used to be a club on the top floor of Royal Exchange Sq where the private members place is now. Did Northern Soul nights and drinks were under a pound, really good wee spot and always seemed to be a great crowd.
In terms of the subclub, I wasn't aware of a moving floor, but I remember folk telling me there used to be a wee cross on the dancefloor that indicated the exact point where the sound was the best. Always forgot to check when I went in though. |
