There was also a brief bit around when I started DJing where it felt like everyone was getting into it, and a whole bunch of queer nights all started (Blitz, TYCI, a few others that escape me now) all around the Flying Duck and such. I hope all those folk are doing well now.
Also shout outs to Cheesy Pop. I remember it hitting capacity every week, hearing Killing In The Name beatmatched into Dancing Queen and the same folk dancing. That it was allowed to wither away was a travesty. |
