Tenements don’t tend to have private gardens. Further Southside like Clarkston and giffnock are very expensive. If you can afford it -great.
For rail links with cheaper properties in quiet areas you could consider parts of rutherglen, cambuslang, Hamilton, East Kilbride. But obviously the commute is longer the further out you go.
