If you’re happy to commute then maybe consider Ayrshire. But you tend to find the further away from the cities you go that attitudes can get a bit more parochial- so really depends what you value more.
Insuring American cars can be quite costly here also-a lot of insurance companies won’t touch them so maybe consider that also.
