I think in certain circles (Conservatives/right wingers etc) they’ll still look down their noses at immigrants (and put in place legislation like Brexit which shot themselves in the foot) but anyone you will want to spend time with would consider that we all came from somewhere originally.
You don’t have to be indigenously Scottish to be Scottish.
