It’s actually a bit of a straw man argument as really it doesn’t matter if it was primary or secondary.
Realistically; it is the trend. It’s not that cancer deaths were higher throughout covid- it’s that cancer deaths amongst people with covid were higher than those without.
It’s not that pneumonia deaths were higher. It’s that pneumonia deaths amongst those with covid were higher than those without.
There’s a common denominator there. And lots of people whose illnesses were escalated by it. |
