If you have a million of more to spend on a property, you won't need one (obvs) but if you need to borrow...forget it. Even with vast amounts of folding, you will lose a lot having to jump through anti-laundering hoops and fees.
We tend not to "hire" are realtor, save for the very high-end. You will do all the searching, you will go look at the properties, you will instruct a solicitor, you will play the "How much over the surveyed value do I go?" game.
As for renting...good luck. "No pets allowed" is the general rule. You will need to be here to find a place, consider using a short-term let as a base to find somewhere but unless it's out in the sticks, don't expect your dogs to be joining. |
