| Comment | Societal norms and sense of community cohesion have been slowly collapsing for years. Atomisation, hyper-individualisiation. Most people don't care about their community or other people in general any more.
When you don't feel part of a community, when you don't care about others and strangers, when you feel like no one cares about you either, you get this. And a whole host of other antisocial behaviour.
Just my 2 bit shitey analysis.
It's easy to just go "they're bad people" and leave it there, but much harder to dig in to the source of the problem. |
